Tsuyazaki Solar Power Station
Building safe, environmentally-friendly communities by using renewable energy to generate power.

MM Energy Co., Ltd.

Renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biomass, etc.) can be used over and over again without depleting resources and without emitting virtually any of the carbon dioxide that contributes to global warming during power generating and heating.

MM Energy Co., Ltd. was established in August .1, 2012 to generate power from renewable energy.

The company has been operating the solar power generation stations called “Mega Solar Tsuyazaki Power Station” which has a total of 4MW capacity on land belonging to Mitsui Matsushima Co., Ltd. in Fukutsu, Fukuoka, Japan. In addition, the company built a 2MW of solar power station which started power generation on November 1st, 2014. Presently, the company has a total of 6MW power generation capacity which is approximately equivalent to annual power consumption of 2000 general households. All the electric power generated by these power stations is sold to electric power company.

We consider this an important business that will contribute to society by helping to address electric power shortfalls and reduce environmental load. We will continue to move forward with the business activities and look forward to developing more renewable electric power services on idle land owned by Mitsui Matsushima Co., Ltd.
